Hello Eaglehawk Neck Coastcare team.

Hello all, happy April.

Our regular activities will be on next week, as well as a couple more opportunities to be be involved in the Live-Bearing Sea-star project.

Officers Quarters Historic Garden Working Bee , Thursday April 9th, 10am-12pm, meet at the Officers Quarters.

Coastcare working on the Terralina track, Sunday April 12th, 10am-12pm, meet at the Officers’ Quarters carpark.

Wear appropriate protective clothing and bring your gloves and secateurs.

The Live bearing sea-star search in March went well at both Fortescue Bay where there is a small population, and at the Tessellated Pavement where the population is larger.
There is one more opportunity to come and have a look at this fascinating creature, and see if we can find any more populations near by. As well there is a chance to discover so many more creatures in the rockpools and get them identified, as well as clean up any infestations of porcelain crabs.
Everyone is welcome to come along, you don’t have to be signed up with NRE for the Sea star activities. Please see the flyer for details and also contact Ellizabeth if you would like to attend. John Hueston will have a sign up sheet on the day.

Hope to see you at our activities.

With thanks,
Kerrie Brown
