Eaglehawk Neck Coastcare

Eaglehawk Neck Coastcare is a community organisation of dedicated volunteers committed to caring for our beautiful coastlines, foreshores, and historic places. We have regular working bees and participate in a range of activities including clean up days, volunteering in the historic garden at the Officers Quarters’, revegetation on the foreshore and assisting in the monitoring of threatened species. Our Beach Nesting Bird initiative aims to educate and inform the public about how to help look after local wildlife such as Hooded Plovers and Pied oystercatchers, both of which nest and forage in various locations on the beaches of Pirates Bay.

Volunteers are most welcome.
