The workshop is being held at Eaglehawk Neck Hall on Wednesday March 2nd, 10 – 3.0pm (lunch provided)
You are invited to attend a FREE diabetes workshop to help you live well with diabetes. DESMOND is a one-day workshop led by health professionals trained to ensure that you receive up-to-date information about the causes, effects and options for taking care of your diabetes. DESMOND stands for Diabetes Education and Self Management for Ongoing and Newly Diagnosed.
DESMOND will help you:
- find out more about type 2 diabetes
- help you manage the changes diabetes brings to your life
- meet with and share experiences with others in your local area who also have type 2 diabetes
There’s no preaching here – just practical options to help you live well. The workshop is informal and friendly and you’re welcome to bring a family member or friend.
