Hello Eaglehawk Neck Coastcare team.

Greetings all,
We have hooded plover nests on the Beaches, yippee!. Now just hoping they can survive.
The one near the dog line has been fenced today, and there are three eggs.
Unfortunately, the tide was right up to the nest, with the bigger seas. Keep an eye out for chicks on the two smaller beaches, there are hoodies and pied oystercatchers nesting higher up on the dunes in a couple of places.

The Officers’ Quarters working bee  dates and times are as follows:
Thursday, December 11th, 10 am – 12noon.
Thursday, January  8th, 10 am – 12 noon.
BYO protective gardening gear and a drink and snack.
