Greetings Coastcarers,

Winter is a great time for tree planting, and our activities this month will include planting shrubs for habitat along the Teralina track.  We would love more hands on the ground, so please make sure you are signed up to participate in this activity.

How to get involved or update your details.

Here is the link to sign up for regular Coastcare activities such as tree planting ,beach bird walks and working in the historic garden. Our Activities usually occur within NRE managed land, such as the coastal reserve or the historic reserve, so it is a requirement that anyone participating in on-ground activities is signed up. and listed under Eaglehawk Neck Coastcare.

FYI , If you still want to be involved in Eaglehawk Neck Coastcare in other ways, such as helping out on our information stall at the market, fundraising events,  or with clean ups, then you will be covered by either Council or by our Landcare insurance for those specific activities. 

Our Upcoming Activities in August

Sunday August 9th.

Tree Planting on the Teralina Track . Meet at the Officers’ quarters carpark 10am – midday. 

Thursday 13^th August.

Working bee at the Officers’ Quarters garden, 10am – midday.  Emmalene Maher from NRE will be attending for a chat with us, and there will be morning tea.

We absolutely need a few more people to put up their hands and help out over winter, so if you have the capacity, you would be most welcome to join us. Make sure you come along in boots and protective clothing , and eyewear if you have any, in case we have to tackle the odd blackberry.
