EXPLORE, WALK, SWIM, SURF, PLAY.

Eaglehawk Neck is wild.

This sweeping, crescent shaped bay and its streak of white sand makes for an iconic coastline.

Find your spot, decide your activity and enjoy the wide open space.

Play, swim or just relax in the calmer waters of the southern end of Pirates Bay. Descent Beach and Lufra Cove, north of the Tessellated Pavement are also great  spots for a summertime dip with children. In winter, the brave continue plunging into the crystal clear blue.

Chasing the waves? Keep an eye on local surf forecasts. Some of Tasmania’s best conditions can be found at the northern end of Pirates Bay Beach, The Neck and Egg Beach.

Walking the wide, sandy beaches is a cherished past time for locals, visitors and anyone looking to hit pause and enjoy the best that nature has to offer.

Sections of the beach are Dog-welcome. This can change seasonally so best to check with local Tasman Council and keep furry friends under control and clean in shared spaces.
