Environment Tasmania

At the beginning of December 2025, we will be screening Sir David Attenborough’s latest film in Parliament House, Hobart!

Ocean with David Attenborough is a powerful film that shows we are draining the life from our oceans, but that we can bring them back to life by protecting marine life in strong marine reserves.
This screening could change how Tasmania
protects its oceans, but only if your politicians show up.

We’ve sent an invite to every Tasmanian Member of Parliament and Legislative Council. Now, we need them to hear from you so they know that their local constituents want them to attend.

We need as many politicians as possible to see this important documentary and hear Sir David’s message.
Imagine the impact this film could have if every seat was filled with someone who can help shape the future of Tasmania’s oceans!
“If we save the sea, we save our world… I’m sure that nothing is more important.”
– Sir David Attenborough
