Hello Eaglehawk Neck Coastcare team.
Greetings all,
Apologies for the late notice.
Coastcare is on this Sunday March 8th, 10am – 12pm. meet at the Officers Quarters Carpark for a spot of weeding on the Coastal Track.
Please wear appropriate clothing, gloves, hat and sunscreen, and bring along secateurs if you have them.
The working bee at the Officers Quarters Historic Site is on next Thursday March12th, 10am – midday, meet on site. We will be deadheading the agapanthus amongst other garden tasks, so definitely bring secateurs , gloves and appropriate gardening gear. Feel free to bring something for morning tea.
Later this month we have been invited to participate in the Live bearing sea star activities at Fortesque Bay and at the Tessellated Pavement. See the attached flyer for information, and if you think you will come along, please register with Elizabeth Castle so that we have an idea of numbers. You will sign up under Tasman Council on the day, and this activity is not restricted to Coastcare members
There has been good news, with the second Hoodie pair for the season hatching two chicks a couple of weeks ago, near the dogline/ surfers carpark area. Last seen foraging with their parents.
I am updating the contact list, so if you no longer want to receive emails from Eaglehawk Neck Coastcare, please let me know.
With thanks,
Kerrie Brown
