Dear Tasman Community Group and friends,

I’m pleased to advise that after significant time and effort, that we have entered Port Arthur in the Top Tourism Town Awards.  While it would have been lovely to enter the region as a whole, the award rules limit us to selecting a town (and their surrounds), hence Port Arthur is our focus.

The submission process was lengthy and required the answers to written questions, production of a 2 minute video, provision of an editorial and 6 hero photos and creation of a 1 night/2 day itinerary. I hope you enjoy the outputs that can be viewed here.  You are welcome to forward this email  to your members and note that they may download the editorial and itinerary also if they wish to share.    I’ve also attached a poster for you to display in your premises if you have one.  If you’d like me to deliver printed copies, please let me know.

An important component of the Awards requires us to gain as many ‘consumer votes’ as possible.  I’m hoping you can help out by not only voting for Port Arthur yourself, but also by encouraging your members, families and friends to also vote for us via this link  https://tict.com.au/tourism-awards-programs/tassies-top-tourism-towns/vote-now-tassies-top-tourism-town-2025/port-arthur/

It would also be great if you are willing to share the link or the attached poster with your networks and on your social media channels so we score a good number of votes!

BTW – anyone who votes also can enter into a draw to win a $4000 Tassie Winter Getaway!

Please also cross your fingers that our beautiful part of the state wins as it could gain us some good public relations exposure!

Kind Regards

Tanya
